Trichomoniasis or
most commonly known as Trich and is considered to be the main cause of
vaginitis. It spreads through external water sources and is also
considered to be a sexually transmitted disease or STD. It is manly the
infection of the urogenitical tract.
Ovarian cysts are
very small, fluid-filled sacs that are usually not malignant. They
cause no symptoms or may be they are quiet painful. In connection with
the menstrual cycle ovarian cysts may also appear sometimes and they
could also go away in a few months. When this ovarian cysts increases
at a very large rate it causes the feelings of pressure or fullness.
Pelvic
Inflammatory Disease or PID is an infection of the women’s reproductive
organs or an inflammation of the female’s uterus, fallopian tubes and
ovaries. As this infection spreads it affects the nearby tissues and
organs. The disease makes the normal tissues scarred and it further
blocks the passage for an egg to pass. This prevents one from having
children. In cases of the egg implanting itself outside the uterus,
then a dangerous condition is formed which is called the ectopic
pregnancy where it causes an internal bleeding and eventually death to
the women.
Polycystic
Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) also known as Stein-Leventhal syndrome or
functional ovarian hyperandrogenism is an endocrine disorder that is
seen occurring in 22 to 23 percent of the women’s population. It is a
fairly common disorder of the hormones that occurs in teenagers and
young women. It was first recognized in the year 1935.
Sexually
transmitted diseases or STD’s is an infection or a virus that is passed
through a sexual contact between two individuals. A sexual contact can
be either through anal sex, oral or vaginal sex. This disease may be
present in one individual and can be passed on to others through sexual
contact, or can be acquired through the usage of an infected needle,
through breastfeeding or even during childbirth.
