Does Extra Free Time Truly Increase Productivity?
Simply sit back and take your time to read this article, I am confident it will help you.
When you are trying to build the best business, your first instinct
might be to work around the clock every single day until you reach your
goals. Even though hard work is great, if you actually desire to build
a business at home in the best way possible, it is just as necessary to
take some time off now and then.
Before I really go further I want to say that there is absolutely
not a thing wrong with hard work. Actually, if you want to successfully
increase your home business so it will give you with the money and the
lifestyle most people desire you will need a lot of hard work.
This article is in not in any way created to stop you from putting
in the efforts that your business requires. It also will not give you
results without effort because that would just be foolish.
"He that waits upon fortune is never sure of a dinner." ~Benjamin Franklin
However, giving yourself a break once in a while is needed for reaching your best level of success.
When you slow down , your body and mind are able to recharge and
your creativity goes way up. Just try giving yourself small 15 to 20
minute breaks during the day and I know you will feel the difference.
If you are the kind of person who finds it difficult to stop during
the day and take some time out for yourself make a schedule for your
free time and sticking with it. Everyone needs to come up for air once
in a while.
Be careful though not to take too long of a break, 15 minutes every couple of hours or so should be plenty.
When you take care of your body, it will take care of you. Your body
is just not designed to go, go, go, go without a break for long periods
of time. You should have daily diversions, weekly retreats, monthly
memories, and annual adventures.
Think of it this way. You can work 14 hours a day with very low
productivity or 5 hours a day with high productivity; which sounds more
appealing to you?
If there seems to be a day when you really are not able to slow down
for whatever reason, try to take that time the next day. Obviously
there are instances when you just shouldn't leave your work, but for
the sake of your health try not to make it a habit.
In conclusion I hope you recognize that hard work and diligent
effort is something that all home based businesses thrive on to be
successful. However, don't be afraid to take some time to stop and
smell the roses. It will help your business in ways you can't even
imagine.
