The Real Secret To Quickly Achieve Essential Skills In MarketingEveryone wants to know how to achieve essential skills in marketing,
well, before I reveal the secret to achieving essential skills let me
ask you this - what is the secret to the most successful people in the
world?Chances are you will say they have determination, they do
what they do with enthusiasm because they believe in themselves, they
have the most enviable attitude, they have an amazing drive, they have
written goals and core desires. They have clarity. etc. I'm afraid I'll
have to slightly disagree with you here because what the anwers above
are characteristics (not essential skills) of highly successful people.
The winners! The champions! These characteristics are the fuel for
success. The secret to achieving what you want to do is in acquiring
the necessary and essential skills needed in that area. Did you get
that? The secret to the most successful people in the world is the
skills set they possess or develop in their area of interest.Jim
Rohn in his audio album "Building Your Network Marketing Business"
describes and teaches the process of how he acquired the essential
skills of building a Network Marketing Business. The most important
thing to note is, these essential skills can be learned. However, it is
not necessary to start any endeavor with the essential skills required.
Why, because developing and improving skills is part of the success
journey in that endeavor! When you start any career you need to acquire
the necessary essential skills (not just any skill) to be the best at
what you do. Almost any career needs marketing skills. Whether is
Network Marketing, Salesmanship, Webdesign, Parenting, Job, Music, etc.
there is marketing involved. I hope by now you can make the
distinction between characteristics and skills set of the success
minded people. Jack Zufelt explains beautifully how to acquire the
characteristics of an achiever in his book The DNA of Success. He says
"Know What You Want"¦ To Get What You Want". This coins our title "The
Real Secret To Quickly Achieve Essential Skills In Marketing"
beautifully in that once you know what you want, clarity, you will get
what you want. And in that process of getting what you want there is
improving skills or acquiring the essential skills. As much as the
characteristics described above are necessary in being successful,
essential skills take precedence! Do you think a successful musician
can automatically make a successful footballer? The musician has to
develop the essential skills first! So what is the secret to
quickly achieve essential skills in marketing? Take responsibility for
your skills set! If you take charge of the skills set needed to succeed
in any marketing endeavor you will acquire the essential skills needed.
With the essential skills in your power, success is eminent. "Know What
You Want"¦ To Get What You Want" - Jack Zufelt. There is no such thing
as born successful.Identify critical areas of success in your
career that will affect your success. If you're in Network Marketing
and you can't sell any product look at your communications skills. If
you don't seem to have any friends work on your teamwork skills, maybe,
or your other personal skills. If you have an internet business and it
doesn't seem to be going anywhere work on developing skills don't
dismiss it and think internet marketing is not working! Get programs or
books that will help you acquire the essential skills. Identify your
area of interest and learn from the experts in that area. As Tim Sales
puts it, don't listen to people who have failed and act as proof that
what they were doing is not working. No! It is not that it is not
working! They lacked the essential skills and quit on themselves. They
also want you to quit"¦ People fail at everything! Pick any endeavor
where there are no people who have not failed at it. We as people, we
fail at anything unless we don't quit on ourselves and/or develop the
necessary essential skills! If you want to start something or
have no idea where or what to start I suggest get a book or look around
for something that can give you ideas. There is a free audio course by
Bill Harris called "The Masters of the Secret" it will shed some
light. Bill Harris says increase your value to the world"¦There is
another famous book called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, it is
also an excellent starting point. Start somewhere and remember that
success is not a walk in the park. Listen to all successful people
(business people, medalists, professional footballers, millionaires,
musicians, parents with well behaved kids, etc) none of them will say
success is a walk in the park. I remember I once read an article by
Randy Gage talking about a marathon runner. He said no matter how
motivated the runner maybe, there are times they feel lazy to wake up
early in the morning for training"¦yet when they lift that trophy up
there we tend to think it was all easy for them"¦
